Because typical antipsychotics work on just one neurotransmitter, dopamine, they have no activity on any other neurotransmitter; therefore, they worsen the negative symptoms of schizophrenia, which are social withdrawal and a lack of emotions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
